afterschool arts enrichment program
Fall Semester & Spring Semester
S.O.S. Youth Centers Inc. partners with the City of Salisbury Parks and Recreation to offer an exciting afterschool experience for youth ages 7-14. The Afterschool Arts Enrichment Program empowers participants to develop their creative skills in visual arts like painting and drawing, literary arts like poetry and short stories, and performing arts like dance and drama. Sessions take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm-6pm at the Salisbury Civic Center. The semester culminates with an art showcase for families, where students work together to share their learning and display their artwork. This program is free to participants.
arts enrichment summer camp
1-Week Arts Intensive
S.O.S. Youth Centers Inc. partners with the City of Salisbury Parks and Recreation to offer a 5-day arts intensive summer camp for youth ages 7-14. Similar to the afterschool program, the Arts Enrichment Summer Camp provides opportunities for participants to develop their creativity and skills in visual, literary, and performing arts. Each day, participants receive direct instruction in all three areas as they create individual and collective works of art to share with their families during the art showcase. The camp takes place Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm at the Salisbury Civic Center during the first full week of June. This program is free to participants.
